If you give a book away on-line and you have an e-mail signature that shows people are getting updates about your book, you will drive a lot of traffic to your store. People love to stay updated and they will want to see your books, if you give them a way to get the information they want.
I find that a lot of people spend a lot of time looking for a certain product online.
